Do you struggle with the tension of feeling out of control and simultaneously fight to maintain control?
Undoubtedly, it’s painful to feel obsessed with food and the body. Yet, it might seem impossible to stop obsessing. While you don’t necessarily enjoy the chunky green smoothie every morning, the hours of meal planning, and the long hours at the gym, if you don’t do it, nagging guilt persists. Subsequently, that shame sometimes spirals into binging, purging, or a deep sense of hopelessness.

Alternatively, you may live in a body that has been stigmatized by our society (whether you live in a larger body, a body of color, or a body that doesn’t express your gender). Indeed, it might not feel safe to be in your body because it’s been ridiculed by our society. Even though there may be nothing wrong with your body, you’ve been judged harshly. Maybe you’ve even learned to hate your body to protect yourself from this unwarranted ridicule.
Sometimes the sense of feeling unsafe in your body results from trauma or violation that happened to you (and your body).

First and foremost, I want you to know that you are not the problem. Without a doubt, diet culture is the problem. You no longer have to outsource your health to a diet culture that’s loud with fantasy and promises and silent with the harm and pain it causes.
It might feel like food and your body are the source of your pain, but I can help you heal the stuff under that pain. Furthermore, you can feel confident and empowered in your body. Last but not least, together, we’ll discover different ways of coping with your pain so you can break free of the painful cycle of body loathing and shame for good.
I know that health is possible at every size. It’s important to note that I will never tell you how to eat or how much to move. Additionally, weight loss is not promoted by Wise Body as we value size diversity. I want you to know that ALL bodies are welcome here, and ALL bodies will definitely get dignity and respect.
