Cost of therapy

Wise Body Counseling Rates:

    • $150
    • 55-minute sessions

I accept Aetna and am working on credentialing with United Health Care. I also accept HSA payments and can do super bills for out of network reimbursements.

I have a limited number of sliding scale slots, but I don’t have any openings right now.

I accept payment via cash, credit, and debit. I also accept Health Savings Account (HSA) card payments and Flex Savings Account (FSA) card payments.

I accept Aetna insurance. If you don’t have Aetna and receive an Out-of-network (OOH) benefit from your insurance coverage, I can offer a receipt with all the necessary details. Your insurance provider may be willing to reimburse you when you provide this documentation.

Good Faith Notice

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. 

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
